First Grade Tricky Words

Here are the tricky words we have been or will be practicing this school year. Please have your child continue to practice reading and writing these words.  We have worked on Unit 1-3  in class so far.

Looking for some games and activities to help your child practice tricky words in a fun and exciting way?  Check out these ideas!

Recess

Please send your child with coats and sweatshirts to keep them warm at recess.  We try to go outside every day and we want to make sure that your child is dressed appropriately for the weather. In order for students to be able to play in snow, they must have snow boots and snow pants at school. If you would like your child to keep any snow gear at school for the winter, please talk with your child. If you plan to have your child take snow attire home each day please send it in a sturdy reusable bag with their name on it. Please label all items with your child’s first and last name.
