Hi Families!
We hope you stayed warm during this chilly week! This week we started our next unit of science, The Sun, Moon and Stars. We began learning about the sun’s patterns and how shadows are formed. Ask your child what they know about the sun rising and setting each day!
100th Day of School!
Friday, January 30th is the 100th day of school!! First Grade has made us so much wiser and older. :) If your child would like to participate in dressing up, then they can come as a 100-year-old person or wear a shirt themed for the 100th day. This is completely optional and just for fun to honor the special day. Please remember that we will still be going to specials that day, so bring gym shoes and wear an outfit that will be ok to go to P.E. in.
Valentine's Day
We are all looking forward to Valentine's Day on February 13th. If you choose to include an item with your child's Valentines, please note that only non-food items are allowed. Please see attached letter for more information!
